I'm Still Alive....and Will Be For The New Year!

Been a long time! Once again, I forgot I had a blog until Mom brought it up the other day...."So when're you gonna post more on your blog?" "..........what blog?"
But hopefully I won't forget again. It would motivate me more to write if I actually knew that people were reading this thing, but since I only average about 1-2 comments per post.....I really don't know.

As far as school goes--its just going. I've got about 2-3 weeks left of Algebra left, and when I say that I mean Christina weeks....as in more than just one lesson a day. Spanish has long been done. For chemistry....I've given it up until I finish Algebra.

English is going well. I've read some good stuff and some horrible stuff. Paradise Lost. I pray that my readers will be able to pass through high school without having to read it. Granted, it is an amazing literary work and very well written but....boring and confusing. DO NOT READ! A recommendation: Frankenstein. Did you know that the monster isn't even named Frankenstein? I didn't.

I suppose that since it's December 31st, I should make some comment about the New Year. In short, I'm not very excited for it. I don't have any resolutions I plan on making, and I don't feel like anything is going to change. The New Year should be after every school year, not smack in the middle of it. But I'd rather not get into that...no need to get shot for trying to change the traditional calender.

And while we're on the topic of holidays, we just had a very important one, didn't we? Christmas. The celebration of Jesus' coming to Earth. Much better day to celebrate than a 'new year' that really isn't all that new.
